The story behind the pair

Some pairs are quiet. This one isn't. We took the temple-jhumka tradition — concentric filigree, a stone at the centre, bells along the bottom — and pushed the contrast. Deep oxidation on hallmarked 925 sterling silver, a polished black onyx at the heart of each piece, and a fine fringe of ghungroo that swings when you walk. Wear it with a banarasi at a wedding, a chikankari at a sangeet, or a plain white kurta when you want the earrings to do the talking.
